Colors
CPUC 2026 accents · event pieces only, used sparingly
Type
Archivo Black
Archivo for everything else. Both are free under the SIL Open Font License, and both are built into Google Slides.
Rules of thumb
- Backgrounds are cream, not white. Navy for dark pieces.
- Use the sticker logo on dark or busy backgrounds.
- Keep clear space of at least the height of the Labs monitor screen (or the CPUC "C") on every side.
- Full logos go no smaller than 240 px on screen or 1.25 in in print. Smaller than that, use the icon.
- Never stretch, recolor, redraw or retype a logo, and don't add effects.
- One big headline per slide or page, sentence case, eight words or fewer.
- Flat colors, heavy navy outlines, hard offset shadows and halftone dots. No gradients, soft shadows, stock photos or clip art.
- The Fountain logo signs our pieces small and in white. It never leads.
