Building what's next for frontline work

Fountain Labs is the innovation team at Fountain. We work side by side with customers to find the problems that matter most to frontline employers, prototype AI agents and new products to solve them, and turn what works into Fountain products.

Cue Power User Conference 2026

Two days in the desert to build with Fountain, alongside the people getting the most out of Cue. Agenda, session materials and your Fountain team, all in one place.

How Labs works

Small team, short loops

Labs is where Fountain tries new ideas before they're products. We keep teams small and loops short, and we bring customers in early.

01

Start with real problems

We begin with the problems that matter most to frontline employers, not with a technology looking for a use.

02

Build with customers

Prototypes go in front of real users early. Co-design sessions, betas and build days shape what we make.

03

Ship what works

When an experiment proves itself, we hand it to Fountain's product and engineering teams to build into Fountain.

  1. 2022

Labs starts with new hire onboarding experiments, later handed to the Fountain Onboard team.

  2. 2024

Discovery for Fountain Shift, and a prototype worker support inbox.

  3. 2025

Fountain's first CHRO Summit, where Labs ran a hands-on build session, and a run of hands-on AI workshops.

  4. 2026

Cue launches with customers, and our first Cue Power User Conference.

Want to build with us?

Labs works with a small group of customers on most experiments. If there's a workflow you'd love to take off your plate, we'd like to hear about it.
